Love or hate his politics, Mitt Romney’s recurring social media slipups show how technology is changing the campaign game, and steepening on the learning curve.
The significance of social media is indisputable. While its monetary value is still up for debate, the influential role it plays in users’ lives is inarguable, and that’s become incredibly evident in the world of politics. The fact that campaigns now have Social Media Directors is proof enough that this stuff matters – as in could decide elections matters.

Social media gives Romney a chance he otherwise wouldn’t have with the mainstream media 70% in the tank for Obama. Plus, conservatives are more outspoken than ever before engaging their friends on social media in political discussions to educate them on the issues.
I was wondering what happened to you. I love how Fox “news” has trained you all to dismiss as “biased” any information that does not fit into your bizarre bubble.
I hope that you have been enjoying Romney’s self-destruction as much as I have. What you must realize, of course, is that in all likelihood there will not be a Republican Party (as we know it today) after the election. And they are going to eat Romney alive.
I can’t wait.
Ah, the Minister of MisInformation resorts to his Fox News blah blah blah.
I’ve been working a lot lately and have not had time to browse blogs as much as I like. Romney is not self-destructing. That is a false narrative the mainstream media attempts to purport, but the independent voters in America have become wise to their ploys. Americans still value freedom and will hold onto it just a bit longer with an election of Romney. Hopefully, he is the leader we so desperately need and is able to generate a resurgence of our American principles of liberty and personal responsibility.
In all honestly, dude, you are delusional.
