Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign requested “several” years of tax returns from potential vice presidential picks, senior adviser Beth Myers, who ran the search, told reporters Saturday.
Myers said vetting documents were stored in safes in a secure room at campaign headquarters for review by attorneys.
Asked what was inside the safes, Myers replied “tax documents, everything we used.”
And how many years? “Several” she said, declining to provide a more specific number.

Wow, Romney is asking his Veeps for their tax returns, but won’t show his tax returns to the American people! He’s doing this so the media will stop talking about his taxes, but this only makes it worse. We know Romney is hiding something and its only going to get worse the longer he doesn’t release his tax returns. If Romney had released more tax returns during the GOP debates, the media would move on to other issues.
Very well said.

Yes, Ryan or no Ryan, I am still apoplectic with rage that Romney has ignored the calls for him to adhere to established mores for seeking the office of President of the USA. His refusal makes him appear sleazy and untrustworthy.

Now Romney has started back talking about his tax returns. It only took Romney one day to start back on his tax returns. His Veep selection was suppose to stop the media from talking about his taxes.
Good point! It is astonishing how incompetent these people are, and good for the American people!
